For Sale – 1977 MGB
For Sale - 1968 MGB Roadster My MGB needs a new home. I purchased it in 1991 when I took apart my MGA for restoration and immediately missed driving it. I purchased the B from a neighbor in Titusville who had owned it since 1988 and who had kept it garaged, rarely drove it, and had only made repairs as needed. My A is now finished and I’m ready to let go of the B. The B has continued to be garaged since I purchased it and has been maintained in dependable driving condition with improvements made from time to time. I have used it for weekends, car shows, and a few long pleasure trips, a total 70,000 miles under my ownership. Major repairs and improvements I made include: 2007 New master brake cylinder and new rear wheel
Cylinders 2005 High torque starter 2004 “Pecos” header and exhaust system 2004 Dunlop 185/70 R14 tires on two new Dayton chrome wire wheels and two Dayton chrome wire wheels that were new in 1996. All mounted, trued, and balanced by Hendrix Wire Wheel in Greensboro, North Carolina, resulting in NO WHEEL SHIMMY. (Splined hubs previously replaced) 2003 Tie rod ends 1997 Alternator 1997 New interior and top, both from Moss Motors kits installed by me. 1996 MGB V-8 type front A arm bushings 1994 Carburetors rebuilt 1993 New clutch, throw out bearing, U joints 1991 Front suspension rebuilt 1991 Conversion to hanging spin-on oil filter 1991 Clutch master cylinder The original color was British Racing Green, which can be seen under the bonnet. It was painted white at some point prior to 1988. The engine has not been apart under my ownership, but runs beautifully and does not consume too much oil. All major systems are in good working order. On the negative side, it has the usual British car leaks and a few other flaws, which I will gladly explain in detail to any interested party. It can be driven and enjoyed as is, with not much likelihood of any major problems for some time, or it could be an excellent restoration candidate. Interested parties, please call me at (321) 544-1467, my cell phone. Or email me at docjensen2002@yahoo.com. Asking $6,900.00.
